I, The Dutch Video Guy, have been ensuring two great movies from weddings for more than eight years. This is an unforgettable memory of one of the greatest days of your life. It started with a passion for filming and what's better than telling a story of two people getting married.
My name is Iwan Appels and I have a passion for filming. Wedding films. I love doing things differently and seeing things in a different way. To film from a beautifull perspectives or viewpoints, like a photographer is looking for ideal lines and beautiful light. I'm looking for images and details that tell a story. So I don't like boring or monotonous, but interesting or exciting. Besides being a filmmaker, I am also a partner and proud father of a son. When I'm not filming or editing, I'm watching my son's basketball game or traveling with my family.
What can you expect from me? It all starts with getting to know you. Just so I can tell you who I am and what I can do for you. After meeting us, you will receive my own wedding magazine, so you can read everything about a real wedding movie again.

Just think about it. After the wedding, my movies become more and more valuable. The memories are getting less and less, just like voices are slowly fading away. How beautiful is the image of a grandpa or grandmother, or how important are the images later for children who can see how mom and dad got married, or that one humorous speech from that one friend, not to mention those tears during vows. My movies are an interplay of voices, movement, family and friends, music and, above all, you. An ensemble in two beautiful moving films, forever.
In more than 7 years, I have already filmed more than 350 weddings throughout the Netherlands and even Europe.
In addition to Dutch, German and English, I also speak Spanish.
