Do you know what 4K or 8K mean? A monitor consists of very small colored pixels (dots) that give a certain color. All these pixels together represent an image. The more of these pixels, the sharper the image. The number of pixels is indicated in resolution, as length is expressed in millimeters.
There are many different resolutions. Ascending: HD, Full HD, 2K, 4K, and 8K. By default, I film in 4K. This is already a high resolution. The standard TV signal is HD or Full HD. 4K has four times the resolution of Full HD, or four times as sharp.
8K, on the other hand, has a resolution four times higher than 4K. Ultimate future-proof. There are also disadvantages to 8K. The biggest challenge is recording 8K images. After all, the cameras that can do this are very expensive. Not only are the film cameras more expensive to buy, but the storage of the images is also more expensive. A powerful computer is also required to edit the film.
Of course, I always deliver the wedding movies in lower resolutions as standard, so that your family or friends can also watch the wedding movies without an 8K or 4K television. Enjoy your wedding movie!
Superb image quality
The sharpness of the image is expressed in resolution. Standard TV signal is generally Full HD. 4K has four times the resolution of Full HD, resulting in sharper and more detailed images. This brings a wedding day to life. By default, I film in this high resolution.
Accurate colors and tones
4K not only provides a sharper and more detailed image, but also more accurate color rendering. All the colors chosen during your wedding will come to life and are therefore as you intended. It's like being there again at your wedding day.
More flexible in post-processing
A third advantage of 4K images is the flexibility when post-processing the wedding movies. Due to the large amount of image information, the images can be adjusted in many different ways without losing quality.
For the future
While Full HD is still the standard, 4K is the future. More and more devices and streaming services support 4K resolution. By having all your wedding movies filmed and edited in 4K now, you can be sure that the wedding movies will still look good in 10 or 20 years.
A professional viewing experience
By not only filming in 4K resolution, I'm even shooting in Cinema 4K resolution. This provides just a little more image information and a cinematic feeling while watching. The image is then even more tailored to the viewing experience. Cinema 4K or also called C4K is ideal for a real movie night with friends and family. The higher the resolution, the better the viewing experience.
Impression of luxury
In addition to all this, a wedding movie exudes 4K quality. 4K then not only adds value to image quality, but also to the luxurious feel. It shows that you have chosen the very best and you will notice that in the end result.
4K wedding movies are more than just a trend; it's a way to capture your wedding day in the best possible way. Sharp details, vibrant colors, and a professional viewing experience. So choose the best quality. My wedding movies create a valuable keepsake for later.
